My interest in mosaic began as a small child in the early 1970’s, being taught by my father how to apply small irregular shaped Japanese mosaic to bottles.

In 1980 I joined the family business specialising in ceramic tiling & mosaics for the residential and architectural sectors. I completed my first public mosaic commission in 1992 and subsequently decided to set up a studio dedicated to the design and fabrication of mosaics in Bromley, Kent in 1995. In 1999 I moved to Deptford, south east London where I still work and live.

Working closely with clients on design concepts, material applications, and installation methods, my aim to produce completely unique mosaics that are contemporary yet reflect the heritage of the medium. My work has been commissioned for residential, commercial and public projects throughout the UK and overseas. I carry out all fabrication personally in my Deptford studio.
