My interest in mosaic began as a small child in the early 1970’s, being taught by my father how to apply small irregular shaped Japanese mosaic to bottles.

In 1980 I joined our family business specialising in ceramic tiling & mosaics for the residential and architectural sectors. I completed my first public mosaic commission in 1992 and subsequently decided to set up a studio dedicated to the design and fabrication of mosaics in Bromley, Kent in 1995. In 1999 I moved to Deptford, south east London where I still work and live.

Working closely with clients on design concepts, material applications, and installation methods, I produce completely unique mosaics that are contemporary yet reflect the heritage of the medium. My work has been commissioned for residential, commercial and public projects throughout the UK and overseas. I carry out all fabrication personally in my Deptford studio.
